    The IGL / PMS Grifgoose Tournament! :)





    I’m here today to bring you news of the upcoming Grifgoose tournament that is being co-hosted by the International Grifball League and the PMS Clan. Get your pens and paper ready, because here come the details!

    The Grifgoose Tourney will be taking place at 6pm Eastern Standard Time on Saturday, February 25th and will be done in double bracket elimination fashion.
    Check out our newly designed website! http://www.igl.moonfruit.com Sign up here and once we have the rosters locked in, the bracket will be available for you to see who’ll you be playing thanks to Challonge. The game and map variants we’ll be using are in this Grifgoose File Set on Bungie.net.


    Perhaps you’re not familiar with Grifgoose? Let me help you out by explaining the basics.
    Grifgoose is a gametype in Reach and tt’s the IGL’s baby. Grifgoose takes the core gameplay and fun of normal Grifball, and played on a map with a design of an American Football field. Throw in some gravity hammers, energy swords and give everyone the ability to sprint and drive a mongoose without dropping the objective and you have yourself a game of Grifgoose! Unlike regular grifball, when the bomb is armed in Grifgoose, it respawns back in the center and doesn’t signal a new round. This allows teams to recover straight away with a quick score in retaliation.
