For 10 years, Bungie captivated gamers and led the industry in first person shooters. On April 29, 2010 Bungie announced the of handing over all future Halo developments to 343 Industries following the release Halo Reach. While many gamers where (and some still are) on the fence of this action; we patiently gamed on, waiting for inevitable server change (August 2011) and then for the final transition on March 31, 2012. This final transition brought a few positive changes, but also temporarily removed one of the most used features of the Halo Universe, the File Share system access via the internet.
Bungie offered players 6 slots originally and with a paid subscription user were allotted 24 and the capabilities to render saved films. 343i promised a 24 slot expansion to all users and delivered almost immediately upon the final transition from Bungie. However, they did announce that access via Waypoint would not be available until sometime in the Summer of 2012. The day has finally arrived!
Users now have access their File Share via Waypoint's Service Record menu. The File Share system will give the option to download previously rendered films from Bungie Pro to the user's computer, but unfortunately will not be capable of rendering new footage. The File Share has an added feature that does track the last 25 downloads to the user's Xbox, unlike the previous system under Bungie's servers. It will also display the active/pending downloads.

for all the slaves.
