New Headset Range Expected to Ship in Time for Holiday 2012

Mad Catz?

Historically Mad Catz have been known to make sub-par xbox controllers on the cheap.

That all changed with the Xbox controller that Mad Catz made for MLG. In fact IGN touted the Mad Catz controller as "The MLG Pro Circuit Controller is one of the most versatile, innovative and well constructed controllers ever made.".

If Mad Catz continues this tradition, this headset could be a major threat to both Turtle Beach and Astro, which both currently have a stanglehold on the competitive gaming headset market.

i just got some turtle beach sets and i love them, but i would love to design a new set for halo 4... mad catz really has a great opportunity to make something awesome.

I'd like to see another headset take control of the market and come out of nowhere...something new is needed in my eyes. If they can design it right, they could blow past the competition, but who knows what TB and Astro have in mind...

MadCatz pretty much owns Trittons, and that's the headset that I've been using for a while now. The quality is great, and I've had no issues with it whatsoever. The one that I have is the Black Ops Special Edition headset, Dolby Digital 5.1.

I currently have the Turtle Beach X41's and Ive been really happy with them, however I may give this new H4 headset a shot when they come out and write up a review for them myself.

Actually, no it didn't lol. Unless they released a new, better V2 batch, the quality of the controllers were still quite crap.


As for the Headset, meh its Madcatz.

I hope they put in the effort and make a quality product for something as big as this. They can make nice stuff, their fighting sticks are like the best around.

I have honestly never been a fan of Madcatz... Even the MLG controller, i do not like the design of it, just my opinion though lol.

Madcatz headset company is Triton so....they'll be great quality. Honestly they got a bad rep for the longest time, but they make high quality stuff now. Especially headsets and fight sticks. Their controllers are still meh, but their MLG one is pretty nice.
