    Halo 4 Multiplayer courtesy of MLG

    MLG put out some Halo 4 gameplay earlier today, actually saying some would be an understatement. Full matches of Infinity Slayer played by the big boy pros.

    You can see Promethean Vision being used a bunch during the matches, there are the occasional thruster or shield in there too.

    Also it seems that Red and Blue are now given names: Red=Demon and Blue=Fury

    For those that don't know how Infinity Slayer functions:

    -Players can call down their own ordinance drops by getting kills and medals. Ordinance Drops are the choice of a power weapon, extra grenades (not in these games) or a powerup (ie. Overshield)

    -A different scoring system based on points is used instead of just kills.

    okay that decent player on the first vid made me realize that the forrunner vision is over powered. and whats up with the care packages 343?. u just keep taking out skill or making it unfair if people are better.

    the more i see of multiplayer the less excited i am for H4

    These "care packages" you speak of are only in one gametype.

    The problem many people see with h4 is that its "too similiar to CoD" and that its gameplay is too unbalanced.
    They have announced, that regular slayer will be available, without all the bells and whistles of Infinity Slayer. And with the reintroduction of the Carbine, the BR, and the no bloom Magnum, its closer to classic halo then reach ever was.

    Fully agree.

    We need to bear in mind just because there are certain aspects of the game that we may not like, some will not be in all gametypes. Halo 4 is a whole new game, we shouldn't expect a carbon copy of H3, H2, or H1. 343 is developing their own take on the franchise, and are trying to include new aspects to make it fun for all. To me, it seems like a mix of old and new: obviously thruster shield, forerunner vision, and Infinity are new, but the way the BR shoots and the overall movements at times seem to feel more like the old Halos. It doesn't seem to be overcomplicated with armor abilities, but has some nice touches, such as tackle assassinations. Some feel like the Halo franchise is one that is better when kept simple, and others who want a new look to the game overall. With the different game modes present, I hope 343 is able to fit both these demands(realistically) by giving players a choice between less complicated, more pure playlists and hectic, novel playlists, in the same way Bungie did with H3.

    Listening to the community is key, Bungie IMO did not do this in Reach and fixed a lot of things that weren't broken, and left broken aspects of the game unfixed. Obviously you can't please everyone, but if they can listen to the general consensus, as well as imply changes they feel would improve the game for all, things will be good.

    the forerunner vision did seem a little over powered to me though... has anyone confirmed that if you crouch and walk that you are still invisible? you can't tell in the videos, i think that it would really even the playing field if you could only see "movement" in forerunner vision.

    Magnum has bloom and is a 6sk, with an 8 bullet clip. Its rather worthless as a weapon.

    And you aren't going to have "Classic Halo" (its rather sad we have to define it as this now adays, instead of just "Halo") when there are Loadouts, AA's, Sprint as default, Armor Perks etc.
