Halocommunity Minecraft Server ?

hhahahha we can't tell that knani it's the minecraft code of conduct to let the new players find out them selfs, sorry but it just goes like that XD. I hope you enjoyed the game so far. There is much more to it they you have probly seen, you have 3 modes survival/hardcore/creative.

Minecraft was original based on survival, you begin with nothing, you gotta search for resources create tools, survive the nights, build a hideout, once you survive for a couple of days you begin exploring, mining, building, chillin lol and that kinda stuff, later on people began to create amazing things in survival mode, so creative mode was introduced. unlimited resources and people can go crazy with building stuff and I mean CRAZY !!!!!! but soon people kinda begin to miss the old school epic survival mode so now 'hardcore' was introduced which means 'locked at hardest difficulty and one life only' this was for the diehard minecraft survival fans. You can play all 3 of those gamemodes offline/solo,

but.... what makes minecraft so amazing/fun/epic is the online mode on the servers. Imagine going into a server with a couple of friends on survival mode put the difficulty on hard so it gets exciting and SURVIVE! collect resources build a home together see your friends getting blown up by creepers or eaten up by spiders and try to save them lol just hell of a fun. Want to go creative begin a creative server, build huge and amazing creations with your friends, castles, spaceships, entire cities you name it people have build it.

Conclusion Minecraft ---> A game you 'have to' experience !!

Knani, if you don't like the monsters, you can also feel free to turn the difficulty on "Peaceful"! Your health will regenerate (though you won't be invincible) and no monsters will ever spawn. So you'd be free to build away in peace

I thought I would bring this up again, it would be nice for someone at halo community to create and host a server for minecraft, could be anyone. This could a fun thing for some people to do and/or work on. Anyone one of you that come up with a server for HC or whatever post in this thread. I currently run a Tekkit Minecraft server that could easily become HaloCommunity's official server if you guys are still interested. It runs off my house's local IP currently but I've been able to connect to it through a No-IP so that my IP isn't shared by the whole community.

For those who don't know what Tekkit is: Tekkit is a minecraft client much like the Minecraft launcher that you download from the Minecraft website but has basic mods like minimap built into the game so you don't have to fool around with .jar and .class files. The largest change from Vanilla Minecraft is the new blocks. Tekkit offers automation machines so that you can have a block mine FOR you if you put time into creating the "miner" block and its parts.
It's basically a new twist on Minecraft to keep those who need something new. Feel free to YouTube search Tekkit and see what it's all about and see if you'd like to play on a server like that.

Setting up to play on the server would be as simple as downloading a launcher like you already have and playing. Currently, it's just myself and two of my friends that play on mine. However, I'd be more than happy to open it up for HC. My computer and connection are solid enough to handle up to 20 people at a time.

Creative server? sounds good to me it seems like there are a few people playing minecraft on HC and that's awesome, a server with 5 -10 people participating in it would perfect not too much not too empty. I think before going into server details, like who's gonna run it, times the server is on etc. we should get a list of people that would actually come to the server every now and then.

Hmmm good question, let me see, wow its actually been a long time since I made a server. I prefer without Mods I like oldschool minecraft , but mods are fun too so if you guys want mods I'm cool with that.

I'd love to have an old fashioned survival HC server. I don't play much PC minecraft due to multiplayer issues. But if we had a real server I'd enjoy it.
