Is the tourney based of just one game or a series of games(best of x games)?

Single elimination, 64 teams.

This means you play each team one time, and if you lose... you're out.

I have a few questions about the tournament that I'm hoping someone can clear up.

1) Is it a bracket style tournament or a round robin where you play everyone?
2) Will all the games be played back-to-back (i.e you finish your game, wait to see who you're facing then immediately play them), or will the games be spread apart?
3) Lastly, how long do you expect the tournament will take? I know that you're aiming to get it done in a day, but how many hours of playing are we talking? By my estimation if the games are played back-to-back then it should take around 2 hours from start to finish (assuming it is bracket style), but I'd like some clarification on this.

2) Yes, back-to-back
3) Assuming everyone plays and finishes games in a timely manner, our estimation is around 2 1/2 hours. Plan for at least around 4 hours though (if you plan on winning), as we know from past tournaments that not all teams are often ready on time / have disputes / had a teammate go AFK... etc.

allow about 15 minutes per game, and 15 minutes to setup your next one. Anything over that, and either you or your opponent is holding up the tournament.

You will have to watch the bracket. You will be paired against another team, look at the rosters, and you will have to either invite the captain, or accept invites. I recommend being proactive and inviting, but don't waste time waiting for them to join if they invite you.

I don't know few things: like will there will be an Tournament Host ? If not, I will have to send FRQ to the other team captains from my ladder? How do you know the results of the game? After each game captains will send you a message? Please clarify this to me, because it is my first tournament ever and first as a Team Cpt and I don't want to screw up Or maybe you have some rules posted?
