General help
The MGC Chatbox Evo is really easy to use

You can :
  1. Send chats : you just have to enter the text in the dedicated input field and then to validate it by pushing the return key ou by clicking on the OK button.
  2. Format the chats :
    3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  3. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
  4. Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*
  5. Use specific commands : some commands can be accessible in the chatbox depending on the will of the administrator(s) of your forum. These commands let you execute specific actions of formatting, management, etc... You will herebelow the information on the command which are accessible to you. You must notice that you are not forced to use the command prefixes (/command_name) when you use them in the channel they are attached to (except in the general channel).*
* : Depending on the settings chosen by the administrator(s) of the forum, you might not have access to all these features.

General Rules
Treat other members positively and with respect. Flaming other members will lead to a warning, possibly even a ban. If you have a problem report it so staff can deal with the issue accordingly.

Do not mini-mod. We would like to encourage and thank members to use the report button but not add their own criticism. Impersonating a staff member is a serious offense and may lead to a permanent ban.

Racist comments or images will not be tolerated.

Do not double post on the board. This means that you are not allowed to reply twice in a row in any thread. Use the edit button when altering your reply if you're the last to post.

Do not bump a post within 24 hours of its original post time.

Threads must be submitted to the relevant forums. Please read the forum titles / descriptions before posting.

Thread titles must be descriptive.
Example:
yo check this out!!!!!11

Halo 4 Release Date Moved Up
Do not use Full CAPs on your thread title.

Excessive posting of similar messages to increase post count is not allowed.

The use of unusual presentation methods within thread titles and descriptions with the intent to gain attention is not allowed.
Example:
**** MUST HAVE ****, L@@K, LATEST, NEWEST, LOOK HERE, *Newest Version*

And other words along these lines including symbols.
Do Not Write Titles Or Post Content Capitalizing Every Word.

NO TROLLING! Now, there's such thing as Fun, and then there's just being a Jerk. We know Trolling isn't already allowed, but once again, not in full detail of what is allowed and what's not, cause Joker's can be confused with Trolls.
•Making Jokes about a Situation is one thing, but there's a thing called going too far when messing with someone.
•If you're not Friends with the person, never try to Troll them, it doesn't have good results.
•Never get personal, but that should go without saying.
•Do not bash people because of your Personal Beliefs.
•Do not try to start a fight by provoking other members.

Always think about how far your Joke is going before posting it. If you have doubts, don't do it.
Offensive Pictures are Banned. Think before you post.

Emoticons from other sites are completely fine, but size still matters.

Moving Emoticons are fine as well as long as they are kept small in size.

Last but not least, things everyone should know:
There should be no links to Porn and Malicious Sites, this will lead to that person being banned; if it was Staff, they will be Demoted and Banned.
There should be no debate about it being a dumb rule, members like that are just Trolls and shouldn't be on the Forums if they can't follow rules.

Staff decisions are final!
For breaking above rules you may be warned/banned appropriately!
