A great afternoon (and evening for some) played host to our latest tournament. This time we played Grifgoose, a gametype created by Vetteking from the IGL. There was some intense action and some hilarious betrayals, but at the end one team rose victorious! On behalf of HaloCommunity, I congratulate our champions, Death By Mongoose! They defeated every single team, only forfeiting two points over seven games, for a total of 33 points.

Coming in a close second was Spartans with Hats, putting up 28 points, and holding an impressive 6-1 record, only losing to our champions! Wonderful run everybody, better luck next time!

Each member of the winning team will be getting their prizes, as promised, 1600 MS points to each of the winning members from Death By Mongoose:

I have to send out one honorable mention to the members of Vector Line, who lost one of their teammates after the second match. Rather than give up, they decided to play the rest of the tournament 3 v. 4… And while noble, they actually managed to pull a third round victory over Fire Ferrets 5-1. Congratulations guys, maybe next time you can have a fourth teammate, and take a stab at the title!
